Huge congratulations from the SYSM team to Kat after completing the Rottnest Channel crossing solo over the weekend. She not only completed the 19.7km swim solo she did it in a smashing 6hrs and 30mins! Kat said the muscle aches kicked in after 4 hours and the seasickness at about the 16km mark in the 3meter swell.

Thankfully Kat managed to finish the race without knowledge of the 10meter shark spotted at the 15km mark! An inspiring effort Kat!!
